“La Toile.”
“Flow. Follow intuition. Let control go. Simply be here now.”
— a note, Sayaka Davis
“A Beginning. A breathing.”
— a note, Hanna Yoo
This record is for our memory and will be a reminder whenever we forget how grateful we have been during our journey,
‘ La Toile_Beginning.’
At the beginning of the season when the cold wind started blowing in NYC, I met Sayaka at a small cafe. We have talked about the project we can celebrate her 10th anniversary and the new starting of my line by collaborating our thoughts, combining our creativity, and finding our essences from the trace of our past.
Sayaka’s eye were always sparkling when I told her any ideas. I could see how she could carry her brand for ten years. I believe that the curiosity will alwasys bring us to the next level.
